A pan European panel of speakers in cluding Dusty Gedge, President of European Ferederation of Green Roof Associations and Nathalie Baumann, Urban ecologist at the Hochschule Wadensvil. The conference aims to understand and discuss how new surfaces in Urban areas can be created for biodiversity especially on roofs. Fabienne Giboudeaux, The Mayor of Paris' officer in charge of green spaces will also be speaking at the event.

The round table discussions will also include:

Hélène Gassin, Vice Président, Ile de France in charge of Natural Spaces and Agriculture
Etienne Vanderpooten, Chief Architect of la ville de Paris
Ariane Delilez, Fédération Française du Paysage (FFP)
Rémy Beauvisage, APIJ Bat, Construction écologique Eco-quartiers
Philippe Peiger, Landscape Designer and Nursery Gardener «Nature on Roofs »

During the afternoon visits will be taken to the roofs of WWF and Goodplanet both created by Jardin Jade and slideshow of the new Biocoop Supermarket roof in an industrial zone will be shown.

And after exchanges and debates a synthesis by Isabelle Delannoy, agronomist, biologist and co-author of the film "Home" will close that day.
