John Little of the Grassroof Company and Dusty Gedge of livingroofs.org and the Green Roof Consultancy will be running there popular course on green roof construction at the Wat Tyler Centre in Pitsea Essex on 23rd October.

The venue is perfect as it has a green roof installed by the Grass Roof company, which was designed to attract rare invertebrates associated with the Thames Esturary.

The course will cover:

• General introduction - Types, Benefits and Basic Principles

• A small scale construction of a section of a green roof

• Detailed investigation of construction of a green roof

• Plants, substrates and design guidance
