Reason for Green Roof |
Sheffield City Council (SCC) was selected as a Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Pathfinder Authority. This involved developing benchmarks for the future progression of BSF nationally. It was decided Bio-diverse roofs would be implemented on all Phase 1 schools in Sheffield (including Silverdale) as part of the Government programme and in recognition of the environmental and sustainable benefits they offer. |
